Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient or rehab experience License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - One year inpatient or rehab experience - BLS - Completion of cardiac arrhythmia review test Description: This position is for an inpatient rehab setting. The unit has 24 beds and a collaborative team environment. Staffing includes charge nurses, registered nurses, patient care technicians, and therapy staff. The expected patient ratio is 1:6. The unit utilizes Hill-Rom beds and an electronic medical record system. Patients receive physical, occupational, and speech therapy for a total of 3 hours a day. Services available include dialysis, blood administration, IVP medications, and remote telemetry monitoring. There are no bedside surgical procedures performed on this unit. The ideal candidate should collaborate well with therapy departments. The focus is on promoting patient independence while ensuring a safe environment. Familiarity with fall precautions, healthcare-associated infections, isolation, and care experience is essential. Candidates who have ACLS certification or medical/telemetry experience are preferred. Weekends are required every other week, with no on-call obligations.
