We are seeking employees ready and willing to build a culture of Diversity, Performance, and Safety!!THE OPPORTUNITYMichelin has an immediate opening for an on-site Industrial Project Manager in our high-paced production facility in Louisville, Ky. This manager is responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on time, and within the stipulated scope and budget. Developing and maintaining detailed plans to monitor and track the progress of each project is critical. WHAT YOU WILL DOBusiness AnalysisAlign project objectives, deliverables, and approach with the sponsorDevelop strategic roadmap with timelines in collaboration with the project teamEstimate resource needs for each project phaseDefine team roles, responsibilities, and individual objectivesProject Management and CoordinationLead and coordinate complex, multifaceted projects using established project management methodologiesManage project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and communicationsIdentify issues, propose solutions, and resolve team conflictsTrack deliverables and ensure alignment with project goalsAssess and secure additional resources as neededProactively manage risks and crises impacting project successReview and update plant documentation (e.g., Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specs)Evaluate project outcomes for efficiency and effectivenessPlanningPrioritize resources across programs and initiativesEnsure activities are not duplicated across projectsLead implementation of systems to monitor progress and resource utilizationEstablish mechanisms to evaluate project outcomesOversee coordination across related projects as neededCommunication & Change Management Provide regular project updates to key partnersDefine and communicate success criteria throughout the project lifecycleDevelop and implement a change management planEnsure availability of appropriate training and supportCommunicate project opportunities and status through formal presentations and informal updatesWHAT YOU WILL BRINGExcellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization.Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and process/product relationship knowledge.B.S. degree in scientific field and 5+ years’ experience in Project Management (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering fields preferred)Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to become proficient in internal software systems.Attention to detail, data accuracy.#LI-RM1#LI-HIRINGMICHELINReady to Shape the Future of Innovation?Michelin is building a world-leading manufacturer of life-changing composites and experiences.
